Do not let the shame stop you from who you are meant to be.
Key Three is live now for patrons. It’s the one I think people avoid the longest, because it asks you to write down what you’ve wanted and never told a single soul, and what you’re carrying that was never yours at all, to really look at the weight you carry and whether it serves the healing and version of you that you wish to be.
Here’s a piece of it.
“So the real question isn’t shame or guilt. It’s whose voice is actually running underneath either one. Some of it is genuinely yours, earned, worth listening to. A lot of it isn’t yours at all. It’s someone else’s measuring stick, dressed up as identity or dressed up as conscience.”
Most people carry at least one thing like that. Many carry more than one. Something they’ve never said out loud, or something they’ve never questioned, not because it’s actually theirs, but because somewhere along the way it started sounding like their own voice. These things can feel heavier when trauma is also being carried.
Key Three is where you finally sort it. Full worksheet, the shame and guilt sort, live now for patrons.
Key One is still free if you haven’t started. Everything builds from there.
Don’t forget to grab Key Two as well, for patrons. Read more here.
And if what comes up while you’re doing this work is something you’d rather say to a person than a page, that’s what Written Witness is for. You write it, I read it, I write you back.
